in the late 1990’s Kimberly and Karen started the band Little Bang Town as a they signed their first big recording contract with Mercury records in 1999 but didn’t release any music the label later dropped them but in 2002. They signed with Sony music monument record. Soon after the release their debut album and their singles “Don’t Waste My Time” and “Everything Change’s” made it onto the music charts.
As a member of Little Big Town Kimberly Schlapman has worked with music legends like Alisha keys and Taylor Swift the band album Pain Killer and the song Girl Crush word nominated for best album and best song in the country music category at the 50 at annual Grammy awards in 2016 they won the award for best country group performance for girl crush.
